Sidewalk- Powell Avenue Phase 1

Where?

Improvements will start on the west side of Highway 69 and continue west on Powell Avenue to 2nd Street.

Who?

The Colorado Department of Transportation has awarded the Town of Westcliffe a Grant of $250,000 to provide improvements and add a sidewalk on Powell Avenue.

What?

The Town of Westcliffe will be able to enhance the multi-mobility connection in Westcliffe’s part of the residential district, parks, and trains by filling gaps in the pedestrian infrastructure. These improvements will include safe crosswalks, sidewalks, and ADA-compliant ramps for our community’s most vulnerable members and visitors.
