INVITATION TO BID
WATER & SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
(HAFFORD AVE. – LINCOLN AVE.)
TOWN OF WESTCLIFFE
Sealed bids will be received no later than the hour of 11:00 a.m. , local time, March 11, 2026 , by the OWNER, Town of Westcliffe , located at Westcliffe Town Hall, 1000 Main Street, Westcliffe, CO 81252, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location.
The scope of work generally consists of water and sanitary sewer main extensions of the Round Mountain Water and Sanitation District (RMWSD) systems. The water main extension generally consists of ±1,360 linear feet of C900 water pipe, fittings, fire hydrant assemblies, water service line assemblies. The sewer main extension generally consists of ±3,030 linear feet of SDR35 sanitary sewer pipe, precast concrete manholes, and sanitary sewer service lines.

Bidding Documents may be ordered online for a non‐refundable charge of $100.00 by email. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds and comply with the insurance provision as specified by the Contract Documents. If a bid bond is used as a bid guarantee, it must be on the form provided in the Contract Documents.
A pre‐bid conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. local time on February 25, 2026 at the Westcliffe Town Hall, 1000 Main Street, Westcliffe, CO 81252. Contractors who arrive after said time will not be eligible to bid.
The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to waive any technical defects in the bidding process as the best interest of the OWNER may be served. The OWNER also reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
